Real CSS, not computed noise

Reads the rules a site actually authored in its stylesheets, including media queries. Switch to computed values when you want them, with browser defaults filtered out so you see only what matters.

Copy as CSS, SCSS or Tailwind

One picker converts any element to CSS, SCSS with colour variables, Tailwind classes, styled-components, a JS style object, or CSS custom properties. Paste straight into your project.

A library you keep

Save any element to a searchable library with tags and favourites. Share a snippet by link, export everything as JSON, and reach it from any browser you sign in on.

Steal the whole palette

One click lists every colour, font, font size, radius and shadow a page uses, ranked by how often it appears. Click any value to copy it.

Narrow permissions

Runs only on the tab you activate, never in the background. No tracking, no page content leaves your browser unless you choose to save a snippet.

Faster than DevTools

No inspector panel, no scrolling a styles tree, no hunting through inherited rules. Click the element, read the rule, copy it, move on.

MVP workflow

Activate, hover, copy.

The first build keeps permissions narrow. Click the extension icon on a tab, scan the page locally, then copy CSS or save a selected snippet when you choose.

1Open a pageUse explicit tab activation.
2Hover elementsPreview CSS in a floating panel.
3Copy or saveKeep snippets in your dashboard.

Questions

Common questions about copying CSS

Yes. DevTools shows you a styles tree you have to read, filter and piece together. CSS Inspector Pro gives you one clean rule for the element you clicked, converts it to SCSS or Tailwind if you want, and saves it to a library you can search later. DevTools cannot do the last two at all.

Both, and you choose. Authored mode reads the rules the site wrote in its own stylesheets, including rules inside media queries. Computed mode shows resolved values with browser defaults filtered out. Authored is the default because it is what you can actually reuse.

Yes. Pick Tailwind from the format menu and you get a class string for the element. SCSS, styled-components, a JavaScript style object and CSS custom properties are available from the same menu.

It works on any normal web page. Chrome blocks all extensions from running on browser pages such as chrome:// URLs and the Chrome Web Store, so those are the only exceptions.

Everything. You get 15 days of full access with no credit card required. If you do not subscribe at the end, the extension simply stops saving new snippets.

$1.99 per month, or $19.99 per year which works out cheaper. Both plans include every feature and two active browsers.

Page content never leaves your browser unless you explicitly save a snippet. There is no background tracking, and the extension only runs on a tab after you click its icon. You can turn off saving HTML entirely in the options.
